A repeatable weekly planning structure for architecture firms: capacity check, blocker review, commitments, and Friday closeout.
A useful weekly plan is short, visible, and tied to real work records. Keep it simple enough to run every week.
Monday: set commitments by person
Review capacity, then assign drawing and general tasks with explicit owners. Confirm which items are deliverable this week.
Mid-week: clear blockers early
Scan blocked and waiting-review queues daily. Resolve consultant waits and approval bottlenecks before they cascade.
Friday: close, carry, and report
Finalize done work, carry forward unfinished items with reasons, and export progress snapshots for leadership and clients.
